Nyan Soe was born in Myanmar in 1987. He obtained a bachelor of Science (Chemistry) with Honours from the University of East Yangon, Myanmar in 2007 and subsequently graduated with a Diploma in Fine Art (Sculpture) from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in 2013. He has exhibited his works in Singapore, Myanmar, Taiwan, Indonesia, the Philippines and China. He has been involved in commissioned projects including The Serangoon River for Parkland Residences and Fat Man Rocking Chair for Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, NAFA Campus V, Singapore.
